Hossler Design to Develop Smarter Charter School Webistes
Foxbright, specializing in communication management for schools, today announced a strategic alliance with Hossler Design. Also based in Grand Rapids, Hossler Design is a visual communication firm with a strong reputation for improving clients' online results. Under the terms of the alliance, Hossler Design will use Foxbright's proprietary education-focused branding and website development methods, as well as the Foxbright Content Management System (CMS) for Schools, to deliver smart, dynamic, user-friendly school websites.

Carmel, IN - October 1, 2009 - University High School in Carmel, Indiana is a remarkable educational community. The school attracts a range of students, helping them find success in academics, athletics and the arts--all with a focus on their academic futures. The statistics indicate that University High School knows how to accomplish its goals: University graduates have a 100 percent college placement rate. More tellingly, at only 34 students, the class of 2008 was offered $2.6 million in merit scholarship awards. The school's web site, however, was not effectively communicating its message of exceptional opportunities.

Climax-Scotts Community Schools is a small rural district situated between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. The district is primarily a “bedroom” community for employers in the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek area with some agriculture. The district has an enrollment of 745 students.  Climax-Scotts School District won the coveted Governor’s Golden Apple Award two times in previous years.

During the 2008/2009 school year, there were 313 teachers, 21 administrators, 48 paraprofessionals, and 120 non-instructional employees for a total of 502 staff members serving in excess of 5,200 students.

NEW: Michigan School Band & Orchestra
Michigan School Band Orchestra Association selects Foxbright

The Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) has a rich history and is unique among music organizations in that all instrumental music activities in Michigan are coordinated through the state office.  All performance-oriented activities, such as Band, Orchestra, Jazz, Solo and Ensemble activities, teacher clinics, and mentoring are unified in one organization. Representation from sixteen geographic districts come together under state elected officers to form the executive board. Together they evaluate the processes and guidelines that affect students in instrumental music.

The Ridgemont Local District of Ohio, located in the towns of Mt. Victory and Ridgeway plus surrounding rural areas, has an enrollment of approximately 600 students.  Farming and agriculture-related industry are the primary businesses.  Easily accessible to Columbus, Marion, Kenton and Bellefontaine, Ridgemont has commuters as well as longtime rural and small town residents.  The smaller student population allows teachers, administrators and the community to work together with familiarity and trust.
NEW: Eaton Rapids Public Schools

Eaton Rapids Public Schools is located 30 miles south of Lansing, Michigan with portions of its district in both Eaton and Ingham Counties.  The school district is attende by approximately 3,000 K-12 students, has 167 teachers and is comprised of one high school, a middle school, an intermediate school, two elemenatry schools and both an alternative education and early childhood program which are housed in the Administrative building.

University High School in Carmel, Indiana is an independent, college-prep high school. The school was founded in 2000 on 115 acres, with athletic fields, tennis complex, computer laboratory, theater, music and art facilities.   Enrollment in 2008-09 was 201 students and the school has 100% college placement.

Byers School District in Colorado selects Foxbright
Byers Public School District 32-J is a small, rural system which is located approximately 50 miles east of Denver along the I-70 Corridor.  The region's primary economic source of income is agriculture, although many of it's residents commute to the Denver area for employment.   The district is comprised of one elementary school, a junior high school, and a high school - all of which are located on one campus.
