Anyone familiar with Manchester’s old site will immediately be struck by the school spirit shining through the new site’s focus on branding. With a motto like “Great Education Made Personal”, who could expect any less? The school also modernized the homepage; creating a cleaner and easier to navigate experience for its community.
A school is only as good as its teachers and staff, and the updated staff directory now makes it easier than ever to see the all-stars who work for Manchester. One of a few quick links that provide easy access to crucial information, Manchester also utilized customized spotlights to make sure that the most important and time sensitive information is never more than a click away. Foxbright also helped simplify the systems behind the scenes to make sure that maintaining the fresh new site is easier than ever.
Harper Creek Community Schools
Harper Creek Community Schools knows that sometimes less is more! Tired of posting to multiple Facebook pages and updating timely information across a variety of platforms, they simplified and streamlined the school systems online presence while simultaneously relieving the pressure website upkeep had been putting on the building secretaries. Now, instead of daily announcements living on a dusty google doc, office admins can easily access their site’s news feature to seamlessly provide community information across the website and app.
Quickly and easily finding contact information is always a high priority for a school website, but maintaining that staff directory should never feel like another job. By creating systems that allowed the website admins to have more control with minimum effort, the school system made sure that updating the Staff Directory was always just a few clicks away instead of hours of frustrating work. Implementing these changes quickly with characteristic Foxbright responsiveness, they can now rest easy with a website that has the look, feel, and utility that they deserve. The leaves are all changing colors and so is the Madison District Schools website! With a rebranded logo and fresh school colors, the website is looking better and brighter than ever. The changes aren’t just skin deep, the schools also made sure their new site is easier to maintain and designed with a fully integrated mobile app so you always have access to the latest updates at your fingertips.
Communication isn’t just what you’re sharing, it’s how. The Madison District Schools took full advantage of the Foxbright templates suite of tools to add news posts and calendar templates for easy and intuitive navigation. Additionally, by choosing the Building List feature, they made sure that relevant building information lived on the home page, reducing the number of clicks and the number of frustrated parents. The redesign process can be daunting, but Madison District Schools came in with a clear vision how to make an engaging and easy to maintain website. As a result, Foxbright had no trouble creating a website that checked all of their boxes.
Kentwood Public Schools
For a school system, your website is a story you’re telling in collaboration with your community. Kentwood Public Schools was bursting with good news to share so they decided to revamp their old website to meet those needs. By using the Foxbright Stories Modules to highlight timely happenings while also integrating the Spotlight feature on the home page, information is now both easier to access and more engagingly interactive.
Giving the website a bit of TLC meant that lots of small tweaks (like assisting with banner photo resizing) all added up to a fresh and effective browsing experience. Kentwood Public Schools also improved navigation across the board by showing drops in multiple columns and breaking out content that had been buried and hidden. Finally, the calendar information, one of the last puzzle pieces in the website revamp, is in the final stages. With over 15 schools in their district, Kentwood’s online presence now better reflects the quality education they provide for their K-12 community.
