News Images Now Included in Post Details, Available to Display in News Feeds

Images uploaded in the Images tab for news posts are now included in the news post perma-page. Images are now available to be displayed within the News Feed block - formerly this option was only available to News Headlines blocks. The setting has been added to the News Feed block properties and can be turned on/off at the block level.

Clients currently using images in news may want to create new size categories for their news feeds so the image displays larger in the news post. When news feeds are displayed on a page, the image size will adapt to the container where the feed has been placed. If further adjustments are needed Foxbright can add styling to limit the size of images within feeds so that the larger version of the image can be displayed in the post perma-page. To optimize news shared on social media, 600x324 pixels is the preferred ratio for Facebook.
