'Ready to Publish' emails no longer sent to Content Editors
In Release: Ellington there were reports of Content Editors receiving 'Ready to Publish' unintentionally - these included Content Editors that had permission to manage assigned pages or permission to manage all pages. We've enforced roles offered to user accounts so that only Content Publisher accounts will receive these emails.
- Web Administrator - Access to all pages, features, files, settings and accounts. It is recommended only a limited number of users are granted full web administrator access per website. Web Administrators will never receive Ready to Publish emails unless their email is added to the 'Ready to Publish Emails' list found in configuration > system.
- Content Publisher - Ability to manage & publish assigned pages. A Content Publisher will receive Ready to Publish emails when a Content editor has marked a page 'Ready to Publish' that the Content Publisher has been assigned to.
- Content Editor - Can edit assigned pages but cannot publish unless granted the ability to Manage Assigned Pages. Content Editors will no longer receive Ready to Publish emails even if they have permission to manage them.
- Staff Member - This role is designed for accounts created for use in Staff Directories and to edit their own teacher pages (when applicable). It is recommended to change account roles to Content Editor or Content Publisher if they will be managing district-level pages.
