Multiple Custom Forms

Multiple Custom Forms can now be placed on the same page. Historically, multiple forms per page would cause submission and data storage issues as the submission process would be confused between one form and the other. This was in part due to form fields with the same title sending submission information to a different form on the page. Custom Forms have now been updated with AJAX submission which provides background tasks while forms are being filled out to ensure the responses are tied to the correct form.

Requests to place multiple forms on a page increased when we allowed expandable blocks to be used on Custom Forms in the Gouda release. In Havarti, all clients should see the expandable option on all Form blocks, among other block types, if they hadn't been previously activated.

This enhancement follows a previous Custom Forms update which created permalinks for forms to allow linking to them directly, another option for adding access to multiple forms on the same page without needing to create multiple pages.
