New Release: Jarlsberg
Foxbright is excited to announce the latest release to the CMS: Jarlsberg. All hosted clients have now been upgraded.
Review the release notes and overview video to learn about new features in the Jarlsberg release. The release notes on our helpdesk will require a login that is not connected to CMS credentials. When visiting for the first time, click the Sign Up option to create an account, or simply click one of the MS/Google single sign-on options (recommended).
Foxbright is excited to announce the latest release to the CMS: Jarlsberg. Many sites have already been upgraded with remaining websites to receive the update over the coming weeks during Wednesday evening or Weekend maintenance windows.
Post-Upgrade Tips
- If areas of the control panel aren't working properly, please log out of the CMS and clear your browser cache/cookies. This process typically resolves session-related issues after a major update. You can log out by clicking your name in the top-right corner of the admin dashboard, or by pasting /admin/logout/ after your website's URL in the browser.
- Clear browser Cache (chrome specific, paste and search the following, choose to clear for 'all time'): chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
- Clear cookies for a specific site: chrome://settings/content/all

Coming right off the heals of our Jarlsberg release, we've sped up our next major release 'Kalari' to get some crucial optimization improvements to our partners ASAP. The good news is some major enhancements were already underway! No need to wait for improvements to Photo Galleries (bulk image upload!!!), Copy Block functions, and refinements to our Image blocks. Most sites will be upgraded to Kalari in December 2025.
Something not looking right? Try clearing your cache
Due to system code changes, the editor or other admin areas may not look normal after a major update. Clearing the browser cache will usually resolve the issue. Still not working? Email [email protected].
- Be sure to select to clear cache for 'all time'.
- For Chrome: paste chrome://settings/clearBrowserData into the browser search bar.
- All Browsers: go to the browser's settings or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Del (PC) or Cmd + Shift + Del (Mac)
Upgrades happen and sometimes your browser doesn't know what to do. Oftentimes clearing your cache will resolve the issue. Still not working? Email [email protected].

Note: The Button Grid is a free enhancement that has already been added to all modern template designs. Custom designs will need the feature added manually. Contact [email protected] to request the button grid if you don't see the option in the editor.
Foxbright is currently working to resolve an issue causing errors when using the site search, and preventing file attachments in data driven modules from displaying, for example files attached to news posts, calendar events, or in the file search block type.
- The issue isn't present for logged-in users viewing a public page.
- File links within rich text are not affected. If highly important files are currently not displaying, they could be added as rich text links while we work to resolve the issue.
- Update: Remaining websites with the issue will be upgraded the evenings of June 4th & 5th.
Foxbright has received notice from Microsoft (Azure) regarding urgent maintenance for their data centers. This unscheduled maintenance will occur beginning at 7pm CDT/8pm EST. Websites may restart or experience brief outages beginning at 8pm EST or later. We recommend avoiding website updates this evening to prevent lost work. From Azure: "Due to a critical hotfix or urgent update, (Azure) App Service was not able to provide an advanced notification." These updates will not affect self-hosted websites.
